Teeswater Sheep
We have been breeding ATSA Teeswaters for over a decade here at the farm, using our UK semen to make some of the best of the breed to be found in the USA. As stewards of this rare breed we feel we have a responsibility to stay true to what a Teeswater should be. Its been a long road but each year brings us closer to our goal of well bred sheep with fantastic wool. They are thrilling to watch as they flow thru the fields draped in locks..I never tire of it. These are not sheep for the fainthearted, they are powerful and opinionated but for me they are an addiction.

Teeswaters For Sale
Each of the following rams was sired by Prince Sterling, our purebred flock sire. Prince Sterling is only one of two such purebred rams in the USA that are sons of Royal Prince. Royal Prince semen played a pivotal role in the Teeswater breed both here and in the UK and we have only recently chosen to use the very last straw existing in the US in our breeding program. Any one of these rams will be a powerful tool in a Teeswater flock and will not only improve growth, fleece quality and conformation, but will break up the inbreeding co-efficiency that exists in many American Teeswater flocks today.
These pictures were taken in the fall of 2020 when they were just lambs. They have now become gorgeous specimens as adult rams. We can provide updated pictures upon request. Don’t pass this opportunity up! Transport can be arranged across the US. Call us to select one for this falls breeding.

Born 3/3/2020 as a triplet. Sired by our purebred Teeswater ram who is an AI son of UK Royal Prince. His dam is one of our top ewes with fantastic conformation and fleece qualities. His fleece has that bright luster and super silky hand that we covet. He is a stylish fellow and we have used him in our own breeding program. This is a ram you can build a flock on!

Born 2/6/2020 as a triplet. Sired by our purebred Teeswater ram who is an AI son of UK Royal Prince. His dam is one of our biggest young ewes with fantastic conformation. His fleece favors his dams background which is Wensleydale so has a bolder character. He is bold and beautiful. His percentage isn’t exceedingly high but this one was just too nice to pass over.

Born 2/15/2020 as a twin. He is 95.25% Sired by our purebred Teeswater ram who is an AI son of UK Royal Prince. His dam is straight UK semen on her sire’s side and has Wensleydale genetics in her background. His fleece potential is outstanding. It is so finely purled and bright! Just beautiful. He is a solid lamb and has filled out considerably since he was shorn. He is being used as a breeding ram this fall in our flock. Note that his codon is QR.
